How SponsoredReview Works

SponsoredReview is one of the monetization tool that is recommended by almost all of my blogging reference.

We can utilize this facility by joining as advertiser or as blogger. Both parties can make the benefit of sponsoredreview.

Advertises and Bloggers find each other by searching throughout easy-to-use interface. With this, blogger can find the blog of advertiser to be reviewed. Then the review is posted to his own blog.

Advertiser then will pay per review made by blogger that posted on his blog for the world to see.

But, to involved in this activity, blogger should joint and confirm to the requiremeny given by sponsoredreview.

Blog Requirement to be joint Sponsored Review

This is my actual experience in joining the sponsoredreview. In order to get approval, our blog should meet the requirement as follows:

Your blog must contain at least 10 non-paid posts with 200 words of unique content each.
Your blog must be at least 3 months old and be cached/indexed in the major search engines, including Google.
Your blog must have, and maintain, at least a 2:1 ratio of non-paid to paid content.
The URL being submitted must be the homepage of your blog. At least 50 words and one link must appear on this URL for each paid review you post, when first posted.
If the blog is not the homepage of your site, there must be a clearly visible link to the blog on the homepage of the site. In other words, we do not want blogs that are orphaned (do not get traffic) on your site.
You must own the blog that you are submitting. Free-for-all or community article/blogs will not be accepted. Hosted blogs from sites like blogspot are ok.
Your blog must not be completely automated or appear to be created solely for search engine traffic.
You must complete all accepted reviews within 7 days, or your account will be suspended.
Foreign Language blogs (non-english) must clearly state in the title which language the blog is written in. i.e. "Jose's Blog - Spanish". All Reviews must be written in English unless otherwise stated by advertiser.
Blogs with very little traffic and/or links, may be rejected .
We may reject blogs that are overpriced. You should not charge more then our suggested price unless your site, and writing style, can justify it.
You must not list a price for reviews on your site greater then the price you set in sponsoredreviews.
We will suspend your account if you make rude or unconstructive comments about an advertiser. You should not accept an offer to write a review if you do not have at least something positive to say about the product/service. We encourage constructive criticism!

Sponsored Review

Sponsored Review is one of facility to get money (monetize) from blogging. But not all blogger can perform this activity. There is the rule as follows.

You are required to register the correct URL where your blog is located (including sub-domains or directories). If your blog is located on http://www.domain.com/blog/, for instance, we will not accept http://www.domain.com as a valid URL. If you submitted the wrong URL upon registration just file a support ticket and we will fix it.
Your blog must be at least 3-months-old, and must be cached/indexed in the major search engines including Google.
Your blog must contain at least 10 posts of real content in order to be approved.
Your blog must have, and maintain, at least a 2:1 ratio of non-paid to paid content. The ratio is calculated on a monthly average.
Having more then one blog on a domain is not permitted. For example, if you have a domain http://www.domain.com which has a blog located at http://www.mydomain.com/blog, you cannot have another blog in our system located at www.domain.com/blog2 .
If you are using a free hosted blogging platform (e.g., Blogger or Wordpress.com) you are allowed have more than one blog, as long as the content is different. This goes for any free blog host that provides sub-domains (e.g., http://subdomain.blogspot.com). This exception does not cover free hosting platforms that use directories ( http://www.domain.com/directory/). In this case the one blog per domain rule shall apply.
You are not allowed to display review prices on your blog (either direct reviews or via third party networks) that are more than 25% lower than the prices you have listed on our system. This rule needed is to avoid people lurking advertisers.
We reserve the right to reject blogs that contain too much visual clutter. You are free to use ads, banners and badges, but if they overwhelm the content itself we might suspend your blog (this refers to extreme cases, most blogs are not affected by this rule).

On-page and off-page SEO

SEO could be on-page and also off-page. At the beginning, my understanding of SEO is only about on-page SEO. I didn't know that SEO besides on-page SEO there is also off-page SEO.

On-page SEO include all efforts to optimize the web page by doing something related to the page, such as keywords, meta tags and content. By doing this, google robot can easily crawl our site. On-page SEO makes the site becomes search engine friendly.

Off-page SEO related to the effort given to make the traffic come to our site. One of the way to make it happen is by making a link between our site with other site that has the same topic with a better page rank.

Search Engine Optimization, SEO

SEO is the term that almost all blogger knows. This is necessary as a tool to make the blog or site becomes search engine friendly. Then the target is to make our site becoming in the first page on the seaarching result.

There are plenty tips on the SEO, one of them that I recomend is SEO by problogger.

Some general tips on SEO are:
1. Prepare the keyword before launching your site.
2. Edit meta tags on html edit of your site.
3. Make links among your articles.
4. Male links between your post with other site you refer to.
5. Make anchor text.

SEO is one of the tool that blogger should do. So, as I told previously, we should always study.

Study is Never Ending

I have just been rejected by a social media to become the member because of one reason that my blog has not met the requirement yet. I think many times to find in what aspect my blog has a missing, I am in the finding process......

So, from this case then I have got a lesson that we should study forever....never stop. As far as we are online, try to study as much as we can by surfing/ browsing the internet.

We should be active in the forum, to discuss the new issues dropped by the forum members, especially inline with our blog topic.

We should also read again e-books we have read and we should practice the items need to be practiced. Sometimes, second reading would have the different understanding than the first reading. Therefore, we need to read again the e-books we have ever read. Make notes and marks for the important things that might be we left at first reading.

How surprised we are that there are many things that we've got again after second reading. So, it means that study should be repeated again and again as far as we can in other to confirm that our previous understanding was true.

Blog Moneytizing

Making money from blog is the next activity we should consider after our blog have been online and all business related with domain and hosting have been ready.

ProBlogger Darren Rowse discussed in a recent post how he’s making money with his blogging, and more generally, with his websites.

The following is a classification of its main sources of income for one of his personal blogs for the fourth quarter of 2006. Darren also included some information on how to use each of these revenue streams and products that offer better job for him to monetize their blogs and websites:

Chitika: While we do not work on all blogs (for example I do not use here at ProBlogger) and there is a traffic minimum to be accepted by them, Chitika is still my biggest source of revenue. They offer a variety of ad units and revenue flows - the top three for me are eMiniMalls, related product units and Shoplincs. Work will continue on the best sites related to the production. Instead SPS units by the end of posts (which give a good option for people to click when you finish reading and experiment with direct links to products in its shoplinc of product reviews (of products) on their blogs. AdSense: The most popular form of advertising on blogs is AdSense (according to some studies I've seen) and for me it's a reliable source of income that provides a significant level of income (slightly less than what it pulls in each month Chitika ). While the use referrals and their search product in some of my sites I find it normal that the ad is the best production of income for me - particularly rectangle (250 x 300 pixels), which placed close to content with a mixture of design . ProBlogger Job Boards: Not spectacular, but more and more revenue. I see this more as a service to readers that a stream of income at this time - but not pay for itself and put in a few hundred dollars each month.

BlogAds: I do not use much these days but in a little each month. I noticed BlogAds decrease in performance for me all the time happened to the new version. I'm not sure if my problem or hers, but apart from a blog that rarely sees sales these days (source - http://brightlaunch.com)

Free Domain

One of the process to be followed before hosting is domain registering. For this process, you need to contact a domain provider which usually in one company with hosting provider.

Firstly, while entering a site for domain, you are requested to order your domain, you typed it, say such as www.yoursite.com
Then the sitae will check the availabilty of this domain name.
If it is available, it means you mac proceed with the registered domain name. If not, you need to rpeat again until you find that your chosen name is available.

Domain need to be paid, but some provider also provide the user with free domain such as from www.cocc.com

One of the guidance in online business I have ever read that we have to treat the online business as our real business the same as offline.

So, we need to study the character of a business rela player, to take lesoons from them. Tehere are many thins we can study from them about the history how they treted their business util success.

Many of my office friends ask me about how could we have the income from internet?, What is the secret?.....

I talked to them that there are many ways to get income from internet., shortly I explained……
You could get the income from the commission of ads placed on your site/blog. This is what we called pay per click (ppc), such as google adsense.
You could get the income from writing, such as from review at sorty.com
You could get commission fron selling of other’s product such as books from amazon.com.
You can get commission from many sources……. I said, principally what we get from internet almost all are “commission”. It’s so simple, isn’t it?

Let’s say PTC, Paid To Click.
This is only the income we have from only clicking a site an watching the ads on it for a certain times. Yes, we paid only for watching the ads. Why? Because a company placed and ad on the PTC site, the company paid to PTC site. So, the PTC site pays us for our click. So, this is simple, we get the money without making a site or blog.

About google adsense.
We placed ads from google adsense on our site. Then visitor of our site click the ads. So, we are paid by google adsense for the ad clicked by visitors.

About Amazon.
We placed amazon ads on our sites, such as books, electronics, garment etc. If visitor clicks the ads and buy the products, we then paid by amazon. The percentage would vary, from 10 to 40 %.......it’s siginificant, ok?

Sucess Tips in Getting Money From Googel Adsense

Having read many ads on the internet about the success in Google Adsense or etc some times make us wonder if it’s true?. Many of ads says about their experience getting $ 100 every daya or even more….

In my notes from my teacher in internet marketing, the method is onle simple and generic:
To profit from Adsense, you must master three important key factors:
-Keywords
-Content Content Content!
-Traffic

Keywords and content are basically related to each other. In writing the content, we should develop the paragraph by using the selected keywords consistently based on our research. If we are fail to do this then ad links that are not related to the content may appear on our website/blog and also the percentage of clicks would decrease. Remember that certain keywords have higher value than other keywords and to get higher revenue, when we write our content, we need to focus on using similar keywords.


Traffic: Indicating where our traffic or visitors are coming from is also one of the most important factors. The more targeted traffic that flows to our site, the more clicks we would receive, and the more revenue we would make. This is where most webmasters will focus their efforts on.


Do not do these:
1. Do not create Web sites only for the purpose of putting Adsense ad links on our site! Why? Google has a way of knowing this and they clearly state that if we have this type of Web site, they will ban us.
2. Do not click on our own links because this will also get us banned.
3. Once we've been banned from the Adsense program, they will never let we back in.

Color Adjustment of Your Ads

The color of your ads will affect your ads outcome. The more color blending their ads with your site design, the more people they can see their ads and click on it. Using attractive color, but not annoying, will also return a good result.

In Google AdSense, you can choose the color of your AdSense ads using the color feature. You can change the text color, color title, URL, color, background color, borders and the color of your AdSense ads., With an easy-to-use user interface.

Most people tend to make the color similar to the design of your site.
And set a background color to the borders of the same color as your site background color. Setting text color the same color as your main website text color.
Color adjustment to the URL of the same color as your link color.
Color adjustment for the title of the same color as its content or color of title H1, H2, H3 tags of the same color or color of their relationship. That's the basic idea.

You can also choose to limit the AdSense ads, and the use of contrasting colors for the background, to make their ads. I think that is nearly as effective as the mixture of colors.

After having been in the internet marketing for about six months, as newbie, I have thaiught taht one thing we should also consider is "selling power" of our website/ blog.

To tell you the truth, I myself until now have not had a significant amount of traffics on all of may websites/ blogs, although I have imolemented what the expert said.

So, we have to analize why we have the situation like this. I think we should review the selling power of our website. This is the term that is relatively depends on the visitors need and vision.

If we have the visitors who would write down the comment, it's ok then we could understand their opinions. But in the condition that we don't have enough input from visitors, what should we do?

I think, we sholud go the basic think, from the beginning, from the idea. The succesful business is initiated by the idea. So, start with the clear idea, from the selection of the keyword to be captured, the name of website/blog. For this purpose, we need to survey first from the facility available on the internet.

Activity on the forum

As you ready with your blog or website, the next step is promoting. Thee are many ways to promote,one of the way to promote your website or blog is through activity in the forum or groups. Come to the forum an be active by posting or commenting. On your signature, indicate your website.

One tips from my online teacher is "social marketing". You actually can have the various information on this item by searching on the internet.

Social Marketing is the activity to promote our site by involving in the groups and forum. There are many groups in the internet and we can joint, depens on our interest or hobby. Suppose your hobby is surfing, ten you coul joint in the grpups on yahoo or google releted to surfing.

You attend the group with your signature containing your websit/blog so that the members of the group will know your website and try to visit. If they visit your website/blog, it means that they becomes your traffic. Imagine if many readers of the group doing the same thing.......so we can have many traffics.

Ping..........what it is...

Ping is a tool for informing the up-to-date condition of your website/blog to the available search engine facilities. By performing "ping", you have informed the change you've made to the search engine and then if a browser type the keywords related to your website then yours wold be listed.

The "ping" facility are numerous and you can find it easily by "searching".

One of them I recommended is "pingomatic.com", please try it.
